I really should think of recording these sounds. I have a few issues with my 2017 Z71 1500 CC:

1) With ignition OFF, the truck will make a whiny electric buzzy kind of sounds intermittently for hours. Like  a "meeeep" that lasts about 1-2 seconds. Does it every few minutes or so. I think it happens more often in hot weather.

2) With ignition ON, while idling, a constant high pitch squeaking sound from under the hood.

3) Creaking brake noise when applying the pedal, coming from under the driver side, somewhere behind driver, maybe at the rear axle. It happens with ignition on and off, but always while breaking. Seems to be more pronounced when moving slowly. Does it when parked as well. Happens all the time when I'm braking. I had the brakes serviced and no change. No sure if they actually serviced the rear side.

Any tips appreciated.

#3 is normal.

Also, have you ever replaced your battery?  If so, make sure all the support bolts are tight for #2

The brake creak is loud. My buddy has a 17 sierra and he has never had anything like it on his current or past chevy's.

I have not replaced the battery. The support bolts being lose would cause battery to rock around, causing squeaking sound?

I had this annoying squeaking sound and it was a bolt that was loose that screwed into the firewall. Also my brake pedal has made a small small squeak since new

Had an annoying squeak that could be heard in-cab so obviously I started there; dash, console, etc.  Found nothing.  Got out of truck and just "rocked" it and determined it was under the hood.  Turns out, it was the bracket over the air filter housing.  When tight, it squeaked.  When loosened, no squeak.  Obviously, I left it loose.
