Won't start

Turns but wont start; ignition tampered with

I have a 2013 Silverado 1500 someone tampered with I do believe and I took the wires down and still drove it even started after driving but now it won't start not sure what's going on. I'll post pics of what they did ...just wanted to know if anyone knew what exactly the wires do I am clueless about vehicles.

  06 canyon 2.8, new engine and components to include engine harness and ECM. VVT wont hold programming.
