Just picked up new truck today denali 3l .wanting a 2 or 2.5 in lift or level .are the 2.5 in harder on the cv joints .I know if I go 2.5 in front I have to go with 1.5 in blocks in rear .are the rough country style not as good as the upper strut mount style as the lower can tear boots from the bolts .sorry for all the questions want it write the first time

I went with the 2” Rough Country top spacer. If i did it again I would go with the Eibach pro truck kit or a 2.5” spacer + 1” rear block.

Did u have the adaptive ride control suspension .any pics thanks I was thinking the 2in rc with 1 in blocks

Where would you get the rear blocks that work with ARC? I have been considering that myself.

I did a great deal of research on the same question for my '15.  The 2" is ample in achieving the laden look. You want to find a balance between cost, potential premature wear and looks.  I concluded that a 1.5" level (upper or lower) would make enough visual change and have minimal negative impact on other suspension components.  Fortunately for me there was a delivery delay with my spacers which allowed me more time to read and think about this modification.  I now have the kit but its still in the box and will likely stay there.  My honest opinion to your question is to enjoy your beautiful new truck a little longer before making this alteration.  If your idea is to enhance the off-road prowess of your truck, then invest in a proper lift kit designed for this purpose.   You have a fabulous truck and the only improvement I'd make is a new set of Michelins or other premium highway tire.  This would truly enhance your truck with no negative potential.
