Canyon - DIC Idle Engine to Cool Engine

Hi,

 

Has anyone gotten a message " Idle Engine to cool Engine" 

I've seen it a few times, it pops on an then off, it doesn't really stay on for any length of time, it just dings, and goes away.

 

I looked at the water pump, no leeks that i can see, and I don't see any coolant under.

 

 

 

Any one come across a similar message? any idea's?

Any coolant temp data?  Gauge run higher than normal?

 

Sounds like it needs to have a code reader thrown on to check for codes too.  Might be one stored in the ECM.

Hi,

 

Checked for history of codes, none found,

Gauge never goes over 190, i keep an eye on it lately, since i got the mesage, 

 

Had issues where one of the GMLAN wires were chaffed, that got fixed.
