Need Help!

I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 4WD with a 6.2L engine.  About a month ago...I started getting service messages for the Driver alert system.  They were intermittent and would be voided by shutting off and re-starting the truck.  Then one night I lost all gauges.  Electronic and Analog.  Again, this went away.  Made an appointment at the dealer.  I was told I had a bad battery and bad negative cable.  Dealer had said that there was "low voltage codes in all systems.  After assessing the cost...I replaced them myself.  OEM parts (cable from GM parts and AC Delco battery)  Truck ran great for 4 days.  Then it started happening again.  Tonight, the truck would not start, even with a jump.  Lights come on...but click, then...nothing.

I read there was an issue with a heat shield by the stater that was responsible for destroying cables.

Has anyone else had this issue?  Where exactly should I look?  Very frustrated.  I am not strong in electrical issues.

Tell your dealer to pull up PIT5405.  It covers 3 or 4 electrical things that can contribute to what is happening.
