Trailblazer suspension upgrades

Has anyone out there upgraded the suspension on their 02-03 Trailblazer or Envoy?

I would really like to tighten up the handling. The overall ride is good and I don't mind the OEM shocks......but I'd like to lose some of the lean in the corners. I know lowering is one possibility.

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Several of the TB / Envoy users have upgraded to the Hotchkis rear sway bar and front bushings. I put the kit on my '03 Envoy SLT and am very satisfied.

I got the premium ride suspension on the one I bought was part of the package. I test drove another EXT one that didn't have it it had a softer ride but going around one of those offramps tha loop around it felt really tippy at 30 mph Mine doesn't get that at 30 mph I can get the same offramp at 40 then it feels more like the rear is going to slide. The 02 Trailblazer LS I had first was really tippy feeling though.

The blue one is the 02 LS the pewter on is the 03 EXT LT that we traded the 02 in on.

So, what you are telling us is that they've upgraded the suspension on the new TBs accross the board? Or could the difference derive from the fact that you now have an EXT?

Just curious, I've been looking for options in reducing cornering roll in my 02 Trailblazer LT without lowering and/or throwing a more stout sway bar in the rear.

I've been trying to find info on the difference in spring rates between EXT and shorter models to see if I could swap out for the EXT springs. Though, this might throw other stuff out of whack. Am I right in thinking this? If one existed, would I be substantially better off going with an aftermarket brand that was specifically developed for my model?

Does the premium ride package have a breakdown on what all is upgraded/included?

Thanks

Why are you hesitant in putting in a more stout rear sway bar? :P

Because when you ramp up the sway bar stiffness, you prevent the differential movement of the two rear wheels. When I need to jump a curb on a jobsite, or want to go down a two-track with some larger rocks, rutts, what-have-you, I'd like to be able to do that.

Plus, the front sway bar is already huge from what I understand, so an upgrade there is not really practical.
