I have error code p0430. Says it could be O2 sensor or the converter. I have a sulfer odor in the truck so I am leaning towards the converter. Do I have any options other than just replacing it? Also, are there any problems with driving it until I have time to fix it?

If it already smells like rotten eggs then the cat is already too far gone. Unless you had misfires up the wazoo or other front o2 sensor related codes, there is not much you can do.

You may notice a drop in fuel mileage if you continue to keep driving it. The only thing left that it could do is break down internally and slowly plug itself. Then you'd have a major drop it power because it can't get the exhaust out. It may or may not ever reach that point.
