Wheel offset

Need some help from someone smarter that me....

 

I want to order some BORA wheel spacers to see how my stock wheels look with a widened stance and some A/T tires.

 

Stock 20's are +28mm offset.  I have aftermarket wheels with +2mm offset and they stick out past the fenders just barely - perfect in my opinion.

 

If I order 1.25" spacers (31.75mm), that should put my effective wheel offset at +3.75mm right???  Pretty darn close to the current wheels I'm running and should work just fine if I'm not overthinking this?

Actually that's -3.75mm I think.

 

So, the wheels would move outward a little less than 1/4" from where they are now.

Looks like I'm correct....wheels would move outboard by just a tad under 1/4".  Should work just fine!

Watch out for stud contact on the back of the wheel. You might have to do some stud trimming with 1.25" spacers. But take pics and let us know how it goes either way!

Long-shot I know....

 

but does anyone know how deep the pockets are between the lug holes on the backside of the factory 2019+ LTZ wheels?  I don't want to have to take a wheel off to measure, but I will if I have to!  Lazy, I know!

 

I think I read somewhere the studs are 1-9/16" long?  Can someone confirm this?

 

I'm wanting to try 1-1/4" spacers and they would leave me with 5/16" stud protruding past the face of the spacer.  Hopefully the wheel pockets are deeper than that.
