2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Emissions Standards and Color

Hey Everyone,

 

New member and first post here.

 

I'm currently trying to decide between two trucks, they are identical except for color and emissions standards. They both have the 6.2L engine.

 

One has federal emissions standards and the other has Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington state requirements. Finding the actual difference between the two of them has almost been impossible, so i'm reaching out to you to see if you have any knowledge in what makes these two trucks different. Is it different parts, such as the catalytic converter or is it different software? I'm from a state that doesn't require additional smog testing.

 

The other difference between the two trucks is color. One is Dark Sky Metallic and the other is Pacific Blue Metallic. I know this is mostly preference but if you have any experience with either of these two colors please feel free to share.
