My '94 fullsize GMC has a the factory tape deck in it. It's not the one with the EQ.

 

My question is, was a CD player available in '94 for this truck. If so, is it possible to swap my tape deck out for one? If it is possible, does anybody have one?

No factory option was available in 94 for CD. Your only option is to replace the stereo with an aftermerket one or use a FM modulated changer. If you need more info on installing an aftermarket system IM me.
