Plowing with lifted truck

Any problems with throwing a plow on a truck with a six inch lift?? Do you have to do anything to reinforce the suspension? Also what is the best plow for non-commercial use?

The lift shouldnt be a problem, but your Ranch Hand Bumper will probably get in the way. Check around with some shops to be sure. Personally the Western plows look like the best to me.

I would think that w/ 6" of suspension lift + tires that are a couple inches higher than stock, you might need some sort of drop bracket for the plow. I'm not too familiar w/ truck plows so I might be wrong.

I have plowed for years with a lift on my truck. My bro in law i plow with has a dodge with a lift on his as well. Only thing is that you need to have lower brackets made for the plow attachment. I agree with the western plow, its alot of plow for the money. Feel free to email me if you have anymore questions. [email protected]
