It is toward the bottom of the sticker in the glovebox, in a full size truck. It is seperate from the rest of the codes. If you have a 2-tone scheme it will have 2 codes listed there.

Such as U117/U185

The code is usually preceded by BC/CC signifying basecoat/clear coat.

992door is correct. Mine is on the last (bottom) row of #'s. It's the middle one on mine. U ####

Found it, I think. 391E.

Just to throw a curveball, my "white" truck had the code for Arctic White in the glovebox and the code for Summit White on the window sticker. Found out GM had 5 different "whites" on trucks alone in one model year. So, if you are buying tough-up paint, double check the VIN at the dealer and see what color pops up. My glovebox sticker was "wrong". The window sticker matched the VIN in the computer.

 

Good thing is, I can't tell the difference between all 5 whites.
