Originally the left blinker wouldn't work after a few days sitting.  The left blinker would not operate the first time I tried it. When that happened I would cancel the blinker and it try it again. Then it would work on the second or third time. Then for the rest of the day it worked perfectly. Then one day I tried the Right blinker and it would not work even after I cancelled it and tried again. I then checked my hazard lights. They did not work either.

 

I did some digging and someone recommended that the problem was the Flasher Relay, part # 10383321. To access it we need to remove some of the dash pretty pieces. I was able to remove the relay, I pulled the cover out of curiosity, It was uncomfortably hot to the touch.

 

The replacement relay cost about $80. What trouble shooting should I do before replacing the relay?
