2013 2500HD radio issue

Long time reader but rare poster here.

My 2013 HD keeps switching the Radio to Aux while driving.  I thought the steering control was the issue but notice if you use the steering button it goes from FM radio to AM radio then to Aux.  Driving it goes from FM to Aux and back again....quite often.  I have blew out the mode/source button on the receiver and the steering wheel.  Any suggestions?

p.s. its the base radio not the Bose system.
