I spent $45 on it, which is a lot to me.

It is a Toyota Hilux with a modified flatbed from an F-350.

Nice job Paco. That green-metallic color looks like it's the same as my old Silverado's paint job.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I ran into some trouble with the flatbed...the d**n thing will not stay on the truck. I think the frame and/or bed are not level, and/or the plastics are different and not bonding because of it.

I will go to the hobby shop soon and see if I can find something to use as a bed.

BTW - the original pickup bed was damaged, which is why I put the flatbed on.

If the bed doesn't line up properly with the frame, I would take it back to the stealer....Should be a warranty item.

Unless you bought it used, it could have been in an accident....Did you run a carfax on it?

LOL.

I was the one who screwed up the pickup bed. The paint went on the body fine, but I had a lot of trouble with it on the bed. I tried again, but I don't think it will come out as good as the body.

I should be able to find some sheet styrene (the plastic used to make the models) and scratch build a flatbed. If I can't find that I could use thin metal and balsa wood.
