21 Sierra SLT changes from Radio to Carplay automatically and wont play radio

Hello all,

 

So I bought the truck at the beginning of the year and eveything has been good so far until about 3 months ago.  If I choose to play the radio it will play for about 10 seconds and then automatically change over to "carplay" and try and play spotify from my phone. If I press radio again it will play for another 10 seconds and then switch back to my phone again. 

 

 It didn't use to do this but now I can't listen to the radio uninterrupted unless I physically turn off my phone.  Anyone else experience this?

I have the same issue but with Android Auto.   I end up needing to pause or stop whatever source is playing on the phone before it will play anything else for longer than a few seconds. Just switching to radio or USB/MP3 results in playing for a few seconds then jumping right back to Android Auto.
