Evap code problem

I got a p1441 (EVAP Control System Flow during non-purge)

 

What would cause this and would it cause the truck to chug or mis during the first few seconds of driving from a cold or regular start?

 

Also, would it make the truck run rich?

Its just an evaporative emissions code. All that code means is that something with in the evap system that controls gasoline fumes in the fuel system has went south on you. More than likely it probably has nothing to do with the poor performance or with it running rich.

yes it can depending on what is wrong.some of the evap system is controlled by vaccumn and can cause stumble. need to get the code and figure out what it is.
