2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 (new body)

Went to start my truck and a Emissions System Issue Evaporative Emissions System poped up and the truck didn't start. It does however start traditionally so it still runs. No lack in performance, but it does drink fuel little more. Anyone else have or has had this issue?

Figure out the fault and take it from there.

 

An EVAP system fault will give some sort of code or error that should be able to be read by a scan tool.

My 2019 with the 6.2 did the same thing several months ago. Turned out to be an ECM within the system that was faulted. Replaced under warranty and back to me the next day. Depending on your mileage, this should be covered under your 3yr/36k mile warranty, or even potentially your emissions warranty which I believe is 8yr/80k miles. Also, anytime there's a check engine light, remote start is disabled.

RStarin56 yeah I have the 5.3 I just hit 20k, I called the dealership but I have to wait they're backed up I'll update you guys.
