USB gremlins and "SD Card Error: SD Card has been removed"

RESOLVED!! For anyone having this issue, I work in IT and this ate my lunch. Bottom line, purchase the card below, format NTSF, copy files over, done.

I tried several name brands, formats, and partitions. Nothing worked until I tried this card. No indexing and is recognized immediately. I don't know if is the brand, transfer speed, or the fact that it's not a micro card with an adapter, but it works.

Following 

I have a 2021 Denali with the same error. 
I am out of warranty and need a solid fix if anything is available. 
Can GM send me a new SIM card?

I am very hesitant to go to the dealership as it sounds like they are only throwing darts at the problem. 
GM - please provide some solid feedback.
