Well, this weekend started out terrible, but got b

Last night running to catch the train, I twisted my left ankle leaving our tower (pretty bad cause I ended up on the ground on State St.). I was fine until about 10pm last night, when I went to get up I fell again cause my ankle just couldn't support the weight.

I couldn't get my Harley back from the dealer, couldn't drive the Camaro today, could barely walk....so my mother was trying to get me to go to the ER (which I fought) and she forced me to my room to lay down and put ice on it again.

Well, I sorta fell asleep and woke up around 12:15 today, got up, hobbled out to the kitchen only to find a few of my relatives and friends had arrived. I'm thinking WTF???? SURPRISE!!!!!!

My Mother and G/F had conjured up a surprise 30th B-Day party for me, had a huge spread (Of course I got to grill :D ) and LOTS of booze!!! No right now I don't need any ibuprofen as I have enough pain numbing alchohol in my system. :D

Even Woodstock Harley was in on it. I was supposed to pick up the bike today from service, but yesterday, Doug, the service manager said I'd have to wait to pick it up because the throttle cable that busted "didn't feel right" when they put the new one in. Evidently the G/F called him and told him about the party and told him to give me an excuse NOT to be able to get it. BASTIGES!!!! :D

Congrats on the big 30!  Sorry to hear about the ankle, man.  Hope it gets better, at least the booze will dull the pain, or make you forget about it for a while!  :D  :D

Oh, and for DiHappy and other environmentally friendly people, I made sure to make use of the Weber saturday.  I cooked nearly 100 burgers.  :D

I had that S.O.B. hotter than the blazes of damnation.  I used one of my fans to stoke the charcoal and all the grease and everything = one big bonfire!!!  :D

Happy B-day, sounds like you had a great time.  Hope the ankle feels better, might have to administer more pain medication this afternoon.  LOL

Happy B-day!  Ain't it great when people surprise you on your b-day?  Sorry to hear about the ankle.

Damnit! I was supposed to start that fire! :D

And I'm a Boy Scout, which means I would've had it much bigger with half the sh*t you used. :D

J\k'ing, Happy B-day.

Well, the ankle works again as I worked out tonight and had no problems running from and to the train today.

I plead the 5th about any fires right about now.  :D

And now in hindsight I should've picked up on the subtle fuax pa's that something was up, like;

-Doug from Woodstock Harley called and saying that "I couldn't pick up the bike Saturday considering I never mentioned to him that I'd be picking it up Saturday.

-My friend who was supposed to get me out of the house told me his sister's much abused '95 Blazer had given up the ghost and we were going truck shopping for her.  I had been in the truck the week before and despite non-functioning A/C, all seemed to be ok.

-My other friend Dave kept saying "I'll call you tomorrow!"  Dave hardly ever calls anyone except the woman that gives him no strings attached sex.

Happy belated B-day CMNT :D

Sorry, I can't feel sorry for you about your ankle cause I'm sitting here with two ruptured discs in my back

But do me a favor and ask your buddy Dave if that girl has a sister!

Or even better, see if she has two sisters.    :D

Twins maybe?!?  :lookaround:

I've already tried that angle!  But she doesn't!  Although one of her married and horny friends wants me and she has mentioned to Dave something of a 3-way cause she thinks I'a a sweetheart or something.

Something about him being there while I'm there just doesn't settle with me.  :ehh:
