I currently have 285/75 R16's on the stock rim with no lift to the front end. I am wondering if I would have any problems going to a 285/75 R16 on a 16x8. I have a 2001 2500hd 4x4. What is the difference between the green keys and the stock keys. I got a set of green green keys for christmas. I am just wondering if they will help me fit this tire/rim combo? Thanks in advance.

Sure will. I ran that set up for about 20k miles before I got lifted. Just have to trim you lower air d**n a little.

Depending upon what the backspacing of the rims are you might have some problems, with or without the green keys. But the keys certainly want cause you more problems, so it might be a good idea to install them before you do the rims.

Get a wheel with about 4-5/8" BS and you will be fine. I ran them without green keys. Just cranked my bars to make the truck level.
