4WD on 2019 Yukon SLT Question

So - just bought a used 2019 Yukon SLT for my wife -wanted 4WD like my Silverado...didn't realize until next day only 2WD Auto and 4WD...no 4H & 4L...looking for moral support...lol.... I mean if we are really going off road we will be in the truck so there's that....but I feel like It's a less of a car without high and low....thoughts?

The regular 4WD is your 4 HIGH, you just don't have 4 LOW then.

You have the single speed transfer case.  Modes of operation are 2HI, AUTO and 4WD which is 4HI.  There is no low range in your case.  All 3 modes operate identical to your Silverado's system. 

 

The only way to get the 2 speed case in Tahoe/Yukon is with NHT max trailer package, or Z71 if its Tahoe.
