1997 Chevy Silverado blinker issue

When the left turn signal is activated the hazard lights come on. And the right turn signal works fine until brakes are applied and then they freeze. That goes for the left side also. I do have a high beam headlight out, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

check all the bulbs first and make sure they are functioning properly, all as bright as they should be and not lighting the tail light filament when the directional is flashing. If you have a dim 1 or 1 lighting the other filament it probably has a bad ground and that will cause all sorts of weird things to happen. it could be a bad directional switch too but I bet its a ground
