2014 GMC Sierra 1500 wont start

I’m having a problem with my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. The truck has been driving smooth and I haven’t had a problem with it, drove it last night perfectly. This morning when I opened the door the chime was weird sounding, I inserted the key and turned it, not all the way then I noticed that it was saying service stabiletrak, theft deterrent. It also showed battery low start vehicle, action required open and close driver window. I then tried to start the truck and it wouldn’t start, no crack at all. I loosened up the battery terminals cleaned it up, put them back tight tried again and still nothing. I charged the battery, still nothing. I’m confused. Never seen this happen. I don’t know if it could be the starter or anything else. If you know anything that could help me get this fixed I would really appreciate it, thanks

I'd pull the battery and bring it somewhere to be tested. It could have shorted internally.

 

Batteries and starters are somewhat of a common issue on these trucks. Also they tend to suffer from corrosion on the inside of the battery cables.
