2020 Silverado LT z71 3.0 Duramax

So I took my truck in to get a new keyfob programmed. The next day I noticed my keyless entry keypad is no longer working. It worked fine the weekend prior to dropping it off.  I brought the truck back for them to look at it, as the master code was not working to reprogram a new code.

They tell me the fob programming has absolutely nothing to do with the keypad and have no idea why it's not working.  They asked for all the fobs, invoice etc so they can contact GM.  They then tell me there should be more paperwork for the keypad, but they were given it all.  They say there's nothing they can do except to buy a new programming code from GM for $350 , or bring it back to the selling dealer as it seems to be their problem.  Which I think is a cop-out, any dealer should be capable.

I've contacted the selling dealer and waiting to get a call back, so thought I'd put it out here for input in the meantime.
