Envoy XL V8 upgrades found

Was dissapointed at first not finding any upgrades for this vehicle, then there was the Hypertech debacle (turns out P/N 30019 does NOT work on ALL 2003 GM 5.3L Truck / SUV), but was happy to verify the Diablo P/N 995917 will work (ordered today) and found an intake upgrade by True Flow (www.trueflow.com - also ordered today)

 

Thought I'd pass this along for anyone else looking for upgrades on the GMT360 with the V8

Did you install the true flow? Any improvement?

Yes I did. Sorry for not checking back on this forum for a while. I am very happy with the True Flow. Quiet while cruising, but a nice little growl with your foot in it. Pulls easier on the steep hills, and doesn't kick down into a lower gear as much. I'd recomend it.
