On the way into work last night, just got off the freeway which leads to a 3 lane road. At the first intersection I am in the far right lane as the light turns green. I pull away reasonably quick, and this Saturn comes from the middle lane and zips in front of me just before the next light where people often turn right- but he doesn't. I get into the middle lane to educate this guy and his buddy on some manners. Light turns green and he had edged to indicate his desire. I jump on it and it's over fairly quickly. They go to turn right at the next intersection and I'm back in the right lane conveniently sitting behind the stop bar so they can't right on red...it's all about being patient boys.

I knew someone would bring that small detail up. Actually when I went into work, I heard the bosses saying something about "he's been a more timid driver since that 11 car accident"...now I thought they were talking about me as I was the passenger when some girl cut my training officer and I off about 5 years ago. So I'm thinking, ok, maybe someone called and said something, but that wasn't the case. Anyway, I kicked myself in the backside for the momentary lapse of judgement.
