I have a 1997 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 I Got off an auction. Truck has pretty low miles and drives well for the most part. However the truck dies overnight and I always have to jump it. I have replaced the battery 3 times now and have checked the alternator, which had no issues. We replaced the speakers in the doors with used ones from the junkyard and there were some other issues with the truck like a missing ac controller and some previously done janky wiring.I guess maybe it could be a wiring issue or something? The truck does not die while driving at all only when I park and come back after about 12 hours.

Could be a stuck relay or the Disney wiring someone did. You will need an amp meter or DVOM and do a parasitic current draw test. It is crucial that you perform the test as described on Utube.

"some previously done janky wiring."

There's your problem.

I had a problem on my '94 because I put a headlight connector on the switch upside down. The parking lights would be on but the headlights off. Luckily I saw it before I went back in the house or I would have had a dead battery the next morning for sure.

So check the connectors also.
