I have a 08 Silverado 1500 4x4 and had the engine code for the injectors, I replaced them with new ones I got on Amazon and still have the same code telling me to clean the injectors and that the fuel is burning rich. It has been having white smoke come out the tailpipe on cold cranks but then stops only shooting out a plume each time. I got a gasket replacement set to redo the engine gaskets but I’m wondering if there is something else less hassle I can do to fix my issue with the engine code still on?

I bet those amazon injectors are knock off's from china if they didn't come from a reputable source. Likely worse off than the stock injectors.

You didn't post the code you are getting and 9/10 times you don't need to replace the injectors because I doubt the code you are getting is actually telling you to replace them.

Misfire codes on a specific cylinder could make you replace a single injector if the spark plug, plug wire or coil pack didn't fix the problem. Or a code like P0200 which is a circuit code for the injectors, that would mean a wiring problem.
