Lowering

I have a '02 5.3 Silverado. I am going to lower the front using the Belltech 2" drop spindles. I can easily lower the rear 2" or 4" using the hangers, but I want to drop it 3" so the back is just slightly higher.

Has anyone done this suspension mod?

if you have shackles you could just set it on 1" instead of 2", and use the hangars that should give you 3", but I would just go ahead and do the 4" in the rear to level out the truck, but it's your truck and not mine

i used beltech 1in to 4in shackles in rear---put mine in 4in and actually only got 3 in out of it when done---you might can tell in my pics--just slightly higer in rear--rides like a dream :cheers:

It won't be. If you haven't already bought the spindles, don't. They ruin your turning radius. Get some DJM LCA's.

I was under the impression the LCA would make the ride worse? I really want to drop mine 2 in the front and 4 in the rear for a slightly lower, but level look. Thanks, Nick

Haven't heard anyone complain about LCA's riding harsh, I know springs will roughen it up a little, I have Hotchkis in mine.
