Anyone use LS1-Edit to tune their truck??

I see the Westers PCM upgrade.. but I already have LS1-edit for my 2000 Corvette.. I plan to add another PCM to my LS1edit to do my soon to be 2001 Tahoe...

I am very proficient at tuning the Vette but was wondering exactly what Westers does to the PCM to get their gains??

I can only assume a big Timing Bump would push me to the 93 Octane rating...But I'd also like to do some things to get better gas mileage

Kick the timing up, take out some TM and some tranny tweaking etc, etc. What they do at Westers you can do with Edit. (not saying its exactlly the same, BUT) If you dont already have it, EFILive is a good program to have. Very useful when used in conjunction with Edit. You can take some of the knowledge of tuning your Vette and use it on your truck. Im sure if you tuned alot you know what route to go to start squeezing out power. High octane tables and such are the same and so on and so forth. Which version of Edit do you have?

I have v 1.21 for a 2000 Vette. I also just use Autotap for logging.. I plan to try and run a 15 in the target A/F for closed loop. Instead of the stock 14.7

Hopefully it will give me a gas mileage gain

Oh it will. 1.3 is out now. Few additions to the list of capabilities. Just send your cable back to Carputing and have Ken add a PCM. He might add you back to the list for software updates after that!! Tune yourself though since you are Edit savvy.
