Yukon 8.1 exhaust

Anyone install an aftermarket exhaust on an 8.1 truck or suburban? Any recommendations?

I have the Magnaflow dual in dual out w/ 2.25 in. tailpipes. I really like it, opened it up a little and didn't lose any bottom end. I really believe the 8.1 gains quite a bit when you open up the intake and exhaust a little. Don't do to much or you will lose the bottom end.

What is the sound like with the B&B? I want to let the engine breath better without making excessive noise at freeway speeds.

The B&B exhaust will be a little louder than stock on the highway but not to bad. You'll notice that it has a deeper tone to it. The system comes to life when you roll into the throttle so it will be more noticeable at that point. We have a few sound files on the site to give you an idea what it will sound like at WOT.

Go to www.bbtriflo.com they have a good clip of a 6.0 w/ a B&B cat-back. I'd reccomend it if you're willing to spend the money!

I know this is an old thread but I found it while searching for this particular exhaust. I have one of these - brand new in the box. I also have a used one that i've modified my stock exhaust to make this one fit. (only had to modify the hanger) But i'm trying to sell them. The brand new one I'd like $500 shipped out of it. Local pick up is MORE than welcome. It cost about $60 to ship one of these boxes. I'm in Dallas (Grapevine) Texas if any of you guys with the big burbs are interested. They sound Good, but i'm looking for a sound that's not so deep. Sorry for this being my first post, lol

Ive been through this.. leave the cats, they flow great and as far as cat back. just pick two 3" mufflers that you like im going with borla, and run two tail pipes out. you wont bielive the differnce just taking off the oem muffler and getting rid of the restrictive 2 into1 tailpipe
