Back with a ZR2

Hello fellow GM Trucks Folks....

 

Been a few years for me, but owning a home finds me back in a truck.  Last month I bought a used Glacier Blue 2022 ZR2.  I was really after a High Country, with a Sierra Denali in a distant second place.  But in the bay area they're more rare than me eating vegetables.  Watched this one linger for a couple of months on the lot @ Vacaville Nissan and finally pulled the trigger.  It had everything I wanted (6.2, tech pkg, sunroof, and multi-flex) and the price was right (still nuts @ $66k, but far better than $81k+ for a Sierra in a wrong color).  The 2" lift is wasted on me, and if I'm offroad it's because I missed a turn somewhere, but so be it.

 

It was originally a Texas truck - one-owner lease which was traded-in early, bounced to another dealer, and then sold at auction to whoever owns Vacaville Nissan.  I'm really happy with the truck.  My mod list was short and relatively simple.  BBS wheels on tires with a little extra beef, a reasonably polite Magnaflow muffler, and a Putco blade.  So far it's made four trips to the dump, brought home a dining room set, and has visited the Lowe's parking lot too many times to count.
