Front End Question

I was lubing the front end on my '01 today and noticed on the by the right wheel when I was pulling the grease gun off that (I'm guessing it was a tie rod) but it kinda moved (turned) a little when I was taking the grease gun off the zerk. I checked the left side (I put my hand on it and tried to move it and it turned a little too. I did not want to see how far it would turn. Are these things supposed to move or do I have a problem. I drove the truck afterwards and the steering felt tight, no vibes or anything. Any thoughts?

If you are talking about the outer tie rods then yes they will swivel alittle its nothing to worry bout

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I figured since bothe moved it was probably normal but I still threw up the concerned flag. Thanks.
