Rear red marker lights in bumper steps

Nothing too crazy or interesting. Just sharing information.  Wanted to add two small rear red marker lights that functioned with brake and blinkers. Turn on with parking or headlights, flashes with blinker, and gets a tiny bit brighter when applying brakes. 10 bucks off Amazon and very common 1/2” LED 3-wire DOT marker lights. Wired in one light per tail light.  No codes or truck thinking a trailer is connected.  Connect ground to frame, dark green on tail light goes to dark green on marker light, brown on tail light goes to white on marker light. All of my connections are soldered, followed by liquid electrical tape, followed by regular electrical tape, followed by wire loom. The grounding point is also spray painted black and then a little bit of grease applied over it.

Cool, I have a few of these on my RST. Keep an eye on them every once in a while, I've had a few go dark on me.
