Hi all, recently I was doing some work in the bed on my 2015 Silverado and had to remove the tail gate, while doing so I removed the back up camera from the harness and fished it through the hole so I could properly take the tail gate off, once my work was finished I put my tail gate back on and reconnected the back up camera only to be created with a message when I put the truck in reverse “service rear camera system”. My camera was working flawlessly before I unplugged it. I have throughly inspected the wire checking for damage, unplugged the battery checked fuses etc, if anyone has a solution that would be greatly appreciated!

I found this video. Maybe might help you. I will assume either the pins got bent at connector or something along those lines. hoe this helps

One more video showing fuses to check & connector cleaning as well as pinched broken wire.

Hey, it worked before you messed with it, so chances are you did something. Just suggestions for you to double check your feeds.
