Aftermarket fog lights with factory switch

Hey all so I bought a aftermarket off road bumper for my 2016 sierra 1500 . They have four 18w fog cube pod lights that came with it (upgrading in the future to name brand lights ) I wanted to wire them up to my factory switch . So I was going to snip the ends of the factory harness going to the lights itself then just connect those sets on lights . My question is since they are both led (old and new) can it be done wondering about issues with wattage .

I know Baja designs and Diode Dynamics both make a fog light kit that plugs directly into your factory harness.  I have the diode dynamics kit.  I like them a lot, way more light output.
