I'm not very mechanically inclined. I have an oil leak when I took my truck to the mechanic he said they would replace the transmission lines. I asked him to hold off for now because I didn't have the extra cash. Is there any product I can add to my oil to hopefully help the oil leak? Thanks in advance.

Help the leak how?  You can add fluorescent dye to find the origin of the leak, but there's nothing in a bottle you can add to stop a leak.  And transmissions are very sensitive to anything but transmission fluid in there.

All you can do is fix the leak, so if your transmission lines are leaking, replace them ASAP so you don't burn your transmission up.  $400 for some new lines is a LOT better and cheaper than $6000 for a new transmission.
