15,000 miles 24 Silverado 1500 and the rear pads are reading 82% and the fronts are reading 99%…..dealership says “that’s normal” did that tech get his certification from a Cracker Jack box? Rotors have gotten so hot they have a blue tint…..but there is nothing wrong with this truck ….. well that’s what my dealership tells me! Anyone else?

Obviously the front isn't reading properly. You need to find a dealer that doesn't blow you off.

Edit - I just opened my GMC app and my fronts show 75% rears 81% at 19,887 miles

Your front sensor is most likely bad.

A good guestimation of wear to the front is to double your rear pad losses and subtract that from 100%.  If you have 85% rear left, meaning you lost 15%, then for the front remaining life you would double the amount lost on the rear  (15% * 2= %30), subtract it from 100, and that would leave you around 70% life remaining in the front.

That's just a general rule of thumb for normal driving, and not representative of a truck that has seen heavy towing or hard driving.
