I’m wondering if I was to buy all the parts to convert the system over will I be able to use 1234yf in my truck and what parts would I need to do so; my ac compressor is bad on my truck so I don’t mind spending the money to find out.

Why on earth would you want to? R1234yf refrigerant itself is about four times the cost of R134a, and the evacuation/ recharge procedures take longer too.

Repair your A/C system properly and be done with it.

It's like $20 for the required amount of R-134a.

Likely nobody here knows if you can just put different refrigerant in there with no issues. The seals and other parts are designed for R134a and not 1234yf.
