Volant Air Scoop???

I was looking at the air scoop and was wondering if it was worth the extra hundred bucks for it. I know it would probably be better to get some outside "cooler" air to the filter but are there any problems with rain or excessive debris or fitment issues with these air scoops???

The air scoop will let in more air but it will also let in more trash. You will have to clean your filter more frequently.

from what I read its just not worth it. I mean your going to spend 100$ on something that has a higher chance of putting water in your engine?

I can believe how much ill fitting plastic costs. I a cold air intake freak, but I still haven't found one that looks to be of high enough quality to put on my truck.
