Dealer got the short end

I bought my truck on Dec. 31, 2003, traded in a 94 S-15 Jimmy with 115,000 miles on the clock and it was an exceptionally clean vehicle considering what others of the same vintage look like. I now have a 2000 S-10 ZR2, truck had 60,000 miles on it when I picked it up. Dealer was asking 15,600 for the truck, by the time the dealing was done it was down to 11,000 and change, don't recall the exact figure. Deal was struck on Dec. 30, they were probably VERY anxious to get it off the lot for the end of year inventory.

Anyway, I got a print-out today of all the service that dealer has done on the truck. The big-ticket items were brakes all around, including new rotors. Also there was the PDI, "reconditioning" from the trade-in, oil cooler lines, LOF, wipers, air and fuel filters and a PS seal leak. On that list were the battery and fan clutch I had them replace after 3 weeks of ownership (battery died in the driveway). Labor, parts and the tow for the dead battery totaled up to almost $1600, and they added a new tie rod end today because of a torn grease boot on one.
