Torque Command

Hey guys,

 

I'm new to this board. It looks like you fellows have a lot of good info. I was wondering if someone could explain what "Torque Command" is in the ECM program? What does it control? I tried to do a search but did not have any luck. Maybe I didn't do it right. Anyway I have an '02 Sierra 2500HD, 6.0 L, 4L80E. I'm going to have my ECM redone with Wester's, but just curious about the Torque Command. Thanks,

I found the thread and read it. It makes sense now that I know it cuts fuel and timing. I have already reprogrammed my transmission with a Transgo kit. So now I'll just save up for the ECM.
