HELP!! No sound at all after xm commander

I have a 2001 Tahoe w/ Bose and Onstar. I just put a xm commander in and used a PIE adaptor to plug it into the AUX input on the factory HU/cd player. I am leaving the tape deck out of the truck completely. The radio and xm both come on properly but no sound comes out for radio/xm or cd. The whole system seems to work except for no sound. Any ideas? Where to look?

nevermind, you just have to make sure that the 9 pin plug is plugged in to the pie adaptor. I just panicked since it is 11:30 and my wife's tahoe was without sound. Thanks anyway.
