I  just purchased my first truck ever as well as my first new car ever.  I'm excited.  It's a 2025 GMC Sierra 5.3L SLT almost fully loaded.  It has the SLT premium Plus package, the SLT convenience Package, the SLT Preferred package, Safety Plus package, Prograde Trailoring, etc.  I love it.  I want to slap some bigger tires and it came stock iwht 20" aluminum wheels.  I got the extended warranty to 100k on powertrain etc.

I wanted to avoid the AT4 6.2 engine with the problems it's been having and I saw the recall today.

Ideally I want to put 33's or 35's under the car, but I don't want to do a bunch of trimming nor do I want to have bad rubbing.

1)What are my options?  I hear there was / is a 2" lift kit from GMC would would  retain warranty but I can't find it for the 4x4 drive variant.

2) Can I add 33's without a lift kit?

3) If I add an aftermarket lift and have it installed elsewhere will it void my warranties?

4) What can I do?

I appreciate everyone especially if you hit all 4 questions.  Thanks!

The GM accessories 2" lift is essential the Trail Boss lift in kit form. That will retain GM warranty. What tires do you currently have? 275/60/20's are 33" tires. Anything other than that will technically void the warranty, depending how picky your dealer is about it.
