I'm thinking about trading my 17 ' Komfort Lite for a 23' Wildwood lite. Its made by Forest River and there are quite a few for sale in Southern California.

It has a dry weight of 3795 lbs. Add 370 lbs for Water, 70 lbs for propane,

100 lbs for food and drink, 400 lbs more for everything else and its at 5035 lbs.

Does anyone have one or had experience with Wildwood trailers?

List Price is $16,614. I expect a nice discount off of that price.

I looked around and see they are manufactured by Forest River Inc.

 

Forest River makes a few brands that I'm familiar with, but unfortunatly, Wildwood isn't one of them. The spec sheet shows that they are built as well as most every other travel trailer. So I wouldn't be afraid of the structure. As long as the interior components and fabrics are good quality, then I wouldn't be afraid to purchase one...

 

(I just order a 2004 Jayco Eagle 32'6" last week!!! Happy RV'ing!!!)

I started a project this week. Removed all the landscape and concrete from the side yard and Monday a contractor is going to pour a new drive and slab next to the house. I will then be able to store my trailer in my own yard. Once thats done it will be time to look seriously at that new trailer.

 

A 32' trailer thats like dragging a condo everywhere you go. I've been camping in my 17' komfort lite since 1996. it has been good to me but I sure will appreciate the extra room the 23' Wildwood has The slide out even makes it more of a good deal.
