More AC Stuff..

After Norman Frede Chevy diagnosed my truck as having a leaky Compressor we decided to charge the compressor. For one reason or another it wouldn't even take a charge. Can anyone explain this? We hooked lines up to low-pressure AC line and nothing. After further evaluation we noticed the compressor wasn't even spinning. Am I gonna have to buy new compressor?

Initially if the compressor was leaky I was just gonna charge it and drive it. I figured, if it truely is leaky, its taken 3 years for me to see effects. I doubt I'll own it in 3 years. Hopefully somtime this week we are gonna put some pressure gauges on it to give us a better idea. I live in Houston and its starting to warm up...
