Adding Fog Lights to 24+ HD

Has anyone added fog lights to their refresh (24+) HD truck that didn’t originally come with it? My WT trim doesn’t have them so I’d like to add.

 

I am not too concerned about factory wiring/switches as my plan is to use an upfitter switch. Mainly interested in the lights and mounting hardware whether it’s best to purchase the OEM parts (and then what those part #s would be) or utilize aftermarket.

 

Spyder makes a fog light but it isn’t clear whether this is mainly to upgrade trucks that already are equipped with fog lights, which if so I’m assuming I will need to purchase additional parts.

I put these in my '23 using the upfitter switches. They are Diode Dynamics SS6 lights.

Sadly doesn’t seem the make anything for the 24+ trucks

Mine weren't spec'd for my Silverado, I had them in my Tundra in place of the OE fog lights. Sold the Tundra and kept the lights. They are basically a 6" light bar with yellow lens and wide spread! The quality of these is great and price point is good too. You could do the same with Baja Designs but they are abut 3 times the price.

 

The kit I have would be listed under 2022 Tundra Fog Lights. But you can et the SS6 lights in the generic section as well. 

 

I just mounted them to the bumper and ran the wires to the Upfitter switches. It worked out pretty well and they are super bright so the idiots on the road can see my little truck
