Losing my head. I have a generator circuit code on my truck after tuning. (Thanks for the help on tune advice CamGTP). Problem is, it won’t let me do the crank relearn after tuning due to the code. I’ve measured the power wires up to the dash, and I have the same voltage that’s at the battery. The battery gauge reads well too. Yet it throws the battery light and stores the code in the ecm.

Does the dash having that light automatically throw the ecm code? Are the ecm and dash tied together like that?  For what it’s worth, I’ve swapped the alt, and checked my grounds. Battery is good. Is my ecm done for? Is there a way to test that? Or is my dash acting funny? The truck was swapped from auto to manual and has been tuned accordingly.

Any input is greatly appreciated. We finally have good weather out in my neck of the woods and I’m desperate to hoss around.

charm.li (website) will have the diagnostic procedure for the code you are getting, that you can work through.
