Westers Warranty?

Will this new pcm void the "factory" warranty from GM? This pcm sounds better than anything I've ever heard of. The 6.0 has balls allready, but many say on here that it really wakes it up even more.

 

With only 1xx miles on the truck...My wife would kill me if I jepordize the warranty..lol

NO.... not at all. You have several days to break the Westers in and get used to it before you send your OEM PCM in, anyway.

 

Nothing is being hacked on, just the values are being changed for the "computer". Some guys here claim the GM techs don't even see the modifications when they hook up their computer to your truck to do maintenance checks, clear codes (what!?? you left your gas cap lose, causing a SES light to flash on???!!!), etc.

It shouldn't, but they probably wouldn't like it if you let them know you had it. They look exactly the same, when I installed mine I went as far as taking off the wester's sticker and placing the OEM stickers on it, so even if they for some reason looked at it, it would appear the same.

Another good trick is to swap the aluminum covers, there are only 4 screws.

Wester's is invisable to the GM tech 2 scan tool. I'm always borrowing my works to try and trick the Odometer into reading less km then I drive
